Wow! So this report is the sum total of your achievements over the past month. For someone too busy to attend the Waverley Ratepayers meeting and the Waverley Volunteers night amongst many other community organizational events I would expect some content regarding the provincial finances, tax increases and community involvement. Our councillor sure has a much busier schedule and relays many various reports on a monthly basis.I am sure the residents expect more !!
Mr. Paris hopes ” the belt will be loosened up a bit so that I can return to providing some small funding for local groups”. Given the MLA salary, pension provisions and other benefits it strikes me Mr. Paris is in better position than most Nova Scotians to give from his own pocket. We have seen what hapens when the belt is loosened a little bit, it adds up to $15b in debt. Handing out that small funding from taxpayers money adds up to nothing short of vote buying. And I thought the NDP said they were different.
