Grand Opening of Historical Society Archives Happening May 15

EVERYONE WELCOME: The Fall River & Windsor Jct. Historical Society is pleased to announce the grand opening of our Archives Centre on Saturday, May 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. It is located in the rear of the LWF Community Hall Building, 843 Fall River Road. There will be a short dedication ceremony with presentation of a plaque for donors who helped make this centre happen. As well, a plaque will be presented honoring a deceased member, Karolyn Carr, who spent most of her lifetime keeping records and photos of the local area with the hope that one day we would have an Archives Centre such as this. Come, take a look at our new surroundings, have some tea/sandwiches with us and see what your communities’ historical records have to offer.
