Third Annual Beaver Bank and Kinsac Parade Of Lights

For the third time Beaver Bank and Kinsac is planning its tremendously successful Parade Of Lights parade again.

It is scheduled for Sunday Dec 7th 2008 (storm date Dec 14th) starting time is 6pm.

Sponsored by the Beaver Bank Kinsac Lions Club, the Beaver Bank-Kinsac Community Centre and the Beaver Bank Kinsac Fire Department.
We are hoping for another successful year.

Seniors Fashion Show And Monte Carlo Night

There was a lot of colourful clothing and plenty of laughter and smiles during the recent Seniors Fashion Show and Monte Carlo afternoon, held at the Legion in Waverley.   It was an event organized and hosted by the Halifax District RCMP, Lower Sackville office, in partnership with the Fall River Community Policing Office, with its partners, Cobequid Community Health Board, Capital Health – Addiction Services, Bedford-Sackville Wal-Mart, LWF Lions Club and the Department of Seniors. Fall River Vandals Hitting New Low

Vandalism in district 2 is out of control – from Fall River to Beaver Bank, the destruction is escalating, and so too seems to be the patience of community residents. And sadly, vandals in Fall River seem to have hit an all-time low.

By now you are probably aware that we were successful in our bid to become Councillor for District 2. Our success yesterday was because of two main things, a wonderful person, Bill Horne who worked very hard as our Campaign Chairman, and a huge team of dedicated & enthusiastic volunteers.
