Area Rates Update for District Two

Fall River, Nova Scotia (D2N) – Barry Dalrymple, Councillor of District Two, is very pleased to announce that a meeting has taken place on February 18th, 2010 at the Gordon R. Snow Community Centre to discuss the L.W.F area rates.  Members from the L.W.F Rate Payers Association and the Windsor Junction Community Centre Board were in attendance along with the Councillor and staff from HRM Finance, Legal and Recreation.

There was a positive outcome with some clearly defined next steps identified. Details to follow within the next month as we continue to work towards improved governance and transparency.
