Four arrested in early morning break in

Fall River, Nova Scotia (D2N) – A homeowner on Howard Lane awoke to the sound of bottles rattling in his home at approximately 2:50 am, Wednesday June 2nd 2010.

An 18 year old man and an 18 year old woman have been arrested, along with two 17 year old males.

Police discovered a significant amount of stolen property in the vehicle they were driving, including liquor, a DVD player, golf clubs, iPods, a pellet gun, a large knife, brass knuckles, and bear spray.

According to police, the items seized may have been taken in an earlier break-in or from vehicles in the Fall River Village area.

The suspects remain in custody. Anyone who has had their vehicle broken into are asked to contact the RCMP.

Two weeks ago, vandals in vehicles went on a run through the Tamarac Hills Subdivision, hurling boulders through windows of cars, as well as through a travel trailer window, doing damage on the side of the trailer as well. It is unknown if the two incidents are related.
