Inner Strength Needed to Enter Haunted House

Some people like birthdays, some prefer Christmas or Easter…….but there are those out there who seem to enjoy HALLOWEEN most of all……….and it would seem the students and teachers from the Inner Strength Tae Kwon Do School in Wellington are among them!

When the school organized their first Halloween fund-raiser last year, they began with a great idea and lots of enthusiasm, and the event was such a success that they decided to do it again !

Visitors to this years Haunted House were not disappointed; they kicked off their Halloween with a good scare! There were wicked witches, spooky ghosts, and bloody vampires and monsters lurking about outside. Inside the sights were enough to scare a person’s socks off; from the creepy judge to the evil nurse, from the children in cages to the babies who looked like death itself, all of the dark characters were something to scream about. The make-up was superb as were the costumes, and the props, lighting, and attention to detail was incredible!

The entire experience was impressive and it was clear a lot of work, talent, and imagination went into the planning and orchestration of the Haunted House. In fact, according to seasoned Halloween thrill-seekers, the schools presentation was the best they had visited in the HRM, saying not even the much-hyped Haunted House on the Halifax waterfront could hold a candle to it.

Approximately 800 visitors came to view the fun display during the weekend of Oct. 24, and all said they enjoyed it. If you are a person who enjoys Halloween and you like a good haunting now and then, mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on next years Haunted House. Guaranteed, you won’t be disappointed…..in fact, you might just be scared out of your own skin!
