Scotiabank Business Expo Held at Rec. Centre

A Business Expo was held at the Gordon R. Snow Community Centre. The event was the second expo organized by Scotiabank, Fall River; the first was held last year at the Waverley Legion. Local businesses from the community and nearby were on-hand to speak with visitors about their particular businesses and what they offer.

Realtors including Dan Chisholm of Sutton Realty, Lynne Cooper from First Impressions Real Estate, and a charming elf from Century 21 Realty were in attendance.

Businesses including Body & Spirit Fitness, Wendy’s Neverland Daycare, Usborne Books, Advantage Frame and Mirror, the Inner Strength Tae Kwon Do School, and the Yellow Strawberry Salon & Day-Spa, had displays set up. Laura Thompson manned a table held by the local hard-copy paper The Laker, and Sandra Carr and June Wyatt were available to discuss the New Archive Room built at the LWF Hall, for the Historical Society.
