Spaghetti Western Supper gets Toes – a – Tappin’

Fall River, Nova Scotia (D2N) – On May 15, St. John’s United Church hosted a very successful Spaghetti Western Supper! Large crowds turned out to enjoy the meal; many folks ventured onto the dance floor and twirled to the tunes provided by local county singer Wilf Carr and the band County Line.

MLA Percy Paris enjoyed the Spaghetti Western Supper, while MP Peter Stoffer dropped by to help with the serving. A group of Red Hatters also came out to enjoy the evening. After the meal Paris took the opportunity to kick up his heels with other guests.

“The music kept the toes of all the supper guests tapping, and the crowds kept the kitchen staff and the servers on their toes!” said Sandra Chard.  “The meal was a first effort by the Men’s group of St. John’s to do any major project, and by the success and good comments about the food, I would say they are just beginning, and we should watch for their next venture!”
