Public Gardens Loses Last Swan
Halifax Public Gardens staff and visitors are saddened by the recent loss of its last swan. The swan, who was found in the gardens on Sunday, November 1st, passed away of natural causes.
During the next few months, Public Gardens officials are going make a decision on acquiring new birds for the Gardens. Any replacements would not be until Spring, 2010.
He will be missed and staff and visitors will remember him fondly.
